Bioservo and Toyota har sedan i april, utfört ett gemensamt pilotprojekt på två fabriker i Kentucky och West Virginia med syftet att utvärdera Ironhand inom olika typer av arbetsuppgifter på monteringslinan. ironHand-handsken utformas som ett smidigt, lättburet och kompakt system som ger ett närmast intuitivt stöd till handfunktionen via s.k. intention detection - en intentionsstyrd funktion som Bioservo is one of RRD’s collaborating partners in the HandinMind and ironHand projects.
